I. PRESENTATION (Following are items of interest to the citizens of the County)

1. Proclaiming the Week of April 19th – 25th, 2009 as Volunteer Week in Clackamas County (Brenda Durbin)

II. CONSENT AGENDA (Items marked with a “c” are considered to be routine, and therefore will not be allotted individual discussion time on the agenda. Many of these items have been discussed by the Board in Study Session. The items on the Consent Agenda will be approved in one motion unless a Board member requests, before the vote on the motion, to have an item considered at its regular place on the agenda.)

III. PUBLIC HEARINGS (The following items will be individually presented by County staff or other appropriate individuals. Persons appearing shall clearly identify themselves and the organization they represent. In addition, a synopsis of each item, together with a brief statement of the action being requested shall be made by those appearing on behalf of an agenda item.)

c1. Approval to Apply for a Grant from the US Department of Health & Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for the Drug-Free Communities Support Mentoring Program – OCF (Office for Children & Families)

c2. Approval to Apply for a Grant from the US Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Recovery Act Local Youth Mentoring Initiative – OCF (Office for Children & Families)

c3. Approval of a Group of Participating Provider Agreement with United Behavioral Health to Provide Behavioral Health Services to CareOregon Advantage Members in Clackamas County – CH (Community Health)

B. Department of Transportation & Development

1. Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between Clackamas County and Oregon Department of Transportation for the 172nd Avenue: Highway 212 to SE Sunnyside Road 2006/2009 STP Fund Exchange (Cam Gilmour, Diedre Landon)

c2. Acceptance of a Permanent Drainage Easement from James R. Cunningham and Diane L. Cunningham for the Sunnyside Road Phase ll Project

c3. Acceptance of Two Easements: a Permanent Right-of-Way Easement for Road Purposes and a Temporary Construction Easement from the Rock Creek Community Club, and Oregon Non-Profit Corporation for the 172nd from Sunnyside to Hwy 212 Project

c4. Acceptance of Five Easements: a Permanent Right-of-Way Easement for Road Purposes, a Permanent Public Utility Easement, a Permanent Slope Easement, a Permanent Conservation and Storm Drainage Easement, and a Temporary Construction Easement from Alfred G. Wetzel and Joyce D. Wetzel for the 172nd from Sunnyside to Hwy 212 Project

c5. Acceptance of Six Easements: a Permanent Right-of-Way Easement for Road Purposes (Tax Lot 100), an 8.00-Foot Permanent Public Utility Easement (Tax Lot 100), a Permanent Slope Easement (Tax Lot 11), a Permanent Right-of-Way Easement for Road Purposes (Tax Lot 200), a Permanent Public Utility Easement (Tax Lot 20), and a Temporary Construction Easement (Tax lot 200) from the Personal Representative of the Estate of Daniel Gale for the 172nd from Sunnyside to Hwy 212 Project

IX. CITIZEN COMMUNICATIONS (The Chair of the Board will call for statements from citizens regarding issues relating to County government. It is the intention that this portion of the agenda shall be limited to items of County business which are properly the object of Board consideration and may not be of a personal nature. Persons wishing to speak shall be allowed to do so only after registering on the sheet provided on the table outside of the hearing room prior to the beginning of the hearing. The time for presentation is limited to three (3) minutes)

 

NOTE: Regularly scheduled Business Meetings are televised and broadcast on the Clackamas County Government Channel. These programs are also accessible through the County’s Internet site. DVD copies of regularly scheduled BCC Thursday Business Meetings are available for checkout at the Clackamas County Library in Oak Grove by the following Saturday. You may also order copies from any library in Clackamas County or the Clackamas County Government Channel.
