Clackamas County Economic Development Commission (EDC)

Our Mission

Create prosperity by fostering balanced economic development in Clackamas County through a close partnership with government and the private sector.

Economic Development Commission meetings are from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in room 115 of Development Services Building, 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City, OR map.

Final Reports

  • 2015
    The EDC committees focused on outreach to existing Clackamas County Businesses. Clackamas County Economic Development Division developed a program to contact 100 companies who make up the Target Business Outreach List.
  • 2014
    The EDC committees focused on Employment Land Inventory, Successful Key Employment Areas, and identified opportunities and constraints for each site.
  • 2013
    The EDC committees focused on Connecting Transportation and Employment Lands and Growing Traded-Sector Industries this year. 
  • 2012
    The EDC, under direction of the Board of County Commissioners, studied three service based topics for their committee work this year: Exporting, Infrastructure, and Permitting processes. 
  • 2011
    The EDC focused their committee work this year on four areas to provide the Board of County Commissioners with a list of recommendations from the business perspective.
