It is important to note that Clackamas County will not be offering direct or "lit" services such as internet, VoIP, or high speed data transfer over the CBX network. Lit services will be provided to end-users such as homeowners, businesses and public entities through telecommunications companies that secure access to the CBX network through agreements with the County.
Public agencies will have the opportunity to secure "dark fiber" access to the CBX through Service Level Agreements which are negotiated directly with Clackamas County; however, they will still need to purchase "lit" services from a telecommunications provider.
