NSP Homebuyer Assistance Program*

Qualified middle-income homebuyers can access up to $50,000 for down-payment, closing costs, repairs and improvements through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), a program of the federal Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.  This program is for foreclosed (REO) single family dwellings only. REO or "Real Estate Owned" is a class of property owned by a lender, typically a bank, after an unsuccessful sale at a foreclosure auction.

IMPORTANT: Funding is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis (completed applications with accepted sales agreement are processed in the order received)!

NSP loans are 0% interest with no monthly payments. (Loans are due upon sale.)  There are specific eligibility criteria for both the homebuyer and the property.  NSP funds are for owner-occupants, not investors.
