The Hamlet of Beavercreek Minutes

Date: Thursday, April 16, 2015

The Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Place: Beavercreek Fire Station

Board Members present: Tammy Stevens, Cheryl Boffard, Norm Andreen, Bill Merchant & John Burke.

Excused absences: Joan Martinez & Christine Kosinski

Treasurer, Cheryl Boffard, gave the Treasurer's report & a list oflast month's transactions. In addition, Cheryl gave reports on: Grants- 2015 Oregon Cultural Trust, "Conversation with Funders," 10 Year Anniversary Celebration Committee (Sept. 2016), Beavercreek's Businesses Committee, Flea Market & Craft Sale Committee- July 18th (flyers) and Apparel Committee.

Bill Merchant provided reports on: Korner Park Facilities Committee, missing road signs, Movie in the Park event, BCT and ACT membership. Bill will follow-up on getting the grass cut at the Korner Park.

Norm Andreen gave a report on the Tree Lighting Ceremony & the activities of the Planning Commission.

John Burke gave a report on the time & expense of $500 to replace the split rail fence at the Korner Park.

Requesting a change in The Hamlet of Beavercreek boundary to include the Leland Road Park was discussed.

The minutes were approved as written by acclimation.

The following Land Use Applications, Activities & Decisions were reviewed:

File: Z0135-15, Carl & Susan Hansen, 23235 S Beavercreek Road, Beavercreek, Exclusive Farm Use (EFU), 34.19 acres, proposal- a partition to divide the subject property into 2 parcels; 1 of 32.0 acres with an existing home & 1 of 32.2 acres for a new home site. This request is a Ballet Measure 49 claim.

File: Z0127-15, property owners John & Sherri Harkness, applicants Brian & Heather Duman, Rural Residential Farm Forest 5 Acre (RRFF5), 4.97 acres, location- south of S Seal Ct, approx. 750 feet south of its intersection with S Henrici Rd. proposal- application for steep slope review on a historic landslide zone to install a septic system & new single family residence.

File: Z0447-14-C, Z0448-14-D, Ronald & Glenda Saunders, 15211 S Tioga Road, Oregon City, Farm/Forest lOAcre (FF10), 21.23 acres, applicant- Verizon Wireless, site address 15405 SLammer Road, Oregon City (approx. 2,500' west of the intersection ofLammer & Beavercreek Roads, requesting an installation of 130 foot wireless transmission tower.

The Hamlet of Beavercreek will be attending the Backyard Bash on July 11th as a vendor. The April 22nd Town Hall Meeting Agenda was reviewed. The guest speakers are from Clackamas Fire District #1.

The Meeting was adjourned at 8:53 p.m.
