The Hamlet of Beavercreek Minutes

The Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Place: Beavercreek Grange

Board Members present: Chair Tammy Stevens, Bill Merchant, Christine Kosinski, Cheryl Boffard, John Burke, Norm Andreen, Joan Martinez.

Registrar: William Bender

Guest Speaker:Amy Kim, The State of Ore. Water Resources Dept. Dist. #20 Water Master (NW Region) provided a Power Point presentation explaining water rights, what is groundwater? Well maintenance, etc. A handbook was provided for those who needed more information.

Cheryl announced the 100th member of the Hamlet's Face Book, Amy Conn, who received a recognition gift.

The Highlights of the April 22nd Town Hall Meeting minutes were read.

LAND USE:

1) Z0135-15PP: Requesting a partition to divide the subject property into two parcels; 1 of 2.0-AC with an existing home and 1 of 32.2-AC for a new home site. This is a M-49 claim.

LAND USE DECISIONS:

1) Z0127-15:APPROVED With Conditions to construct a new driveway & single family residence on slopes in excess of 25%. APPLICANTS:Brian & Heather Duncan/OWNERS:John & Sherri Harkness, South of Seal Ct. approx. 750 Ft. south of its intersection with s. Henrici Rd.

2) Z0156-15:APPROVED Subject to Conditions to build a dwelling under the Forest Template Test provisions. APPLICANT: Glen Mitchell/OWNER:Dennis Pikkarainen, Trustee, 17425 s. Killdeer Rd.

Christine gave an update on the proposed new OCHS bus barn & other transportation/development issues.

Under Old Business it was announced that a letter had been sent to the principal of the Beavercreek Grade School concerning the parking problems along Yeoman Rd. during school activities.

NEW BUSINESS:

The Korner Park fence is in need of replacing. The Hamlet is requesting volunteers to help with the job, during a June weekend.

The Board has allowed up to $1,000.00 for supplies & expenses.

Bill shared a map of Clackamas Co. local summer road maintenance agenda.

Bill is now officially a member of the Region-1 ACT Committee.

Claire Kellogg gave an update on the oc Library. Would the Hamlet be interested in making a donation to the Library Bldg. Fund?

Cheryl reported on the Flea Market/Craft Sale.

Bill announced the BCT "Movie in the Park" will be "Into The Woods."

The Raffle was held and the Meeting was adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
