The Southgate Planning Association was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on December 18, 2014, at 9840 SE Eckler Avenue, Milwaukie, OR 97222. A quorum required for the meeting was present.
The members reviewed two Notice of Land Use Decisions for Case ZO371-14-M for property owned by Colleen Mackin and located at 9720 SE Eckler Avenue, Milwaukie, OR, together with information received from Staff Rick McIntire. The applicant wishes to partition the original lot, demolish the existing buildings, and construct three new residential units.
Two Southgate Planning Association members who own the property just north of the 9720 SE Eckler site expressed concerns about the privacy impact on their property if the residences to be build are more than one story high. The current Proposed Partition Plan shows only a five foot setback on one of the residences that will be located near their property.
After discussion, it was determined that, at this point the proposed partition and siting appears to be within the regulations. The members will await more information as the development proceeds.
