Serv-OR is Oregons implementation for the Emergency System for Advanced Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals (ESAR VHP). The intent is to create a pool of volunteers who are potentially available to respond to national, state, and local disasters. At this site, you can also sign up for the State Managed Volunteer Pool: the group of SERV-OR volunteers managed at the state level. Its membership is alerted of volunteer opportunities in the event of a Federal request for disaster support and/or the Governor declares an emergency or impending public health crisis. All health care volunteers are eligible and encouraged to join this group, as well as a local MRC.
