County Counsel

The Office of County Counsel provides legal advice and representation to the Board of County Commissioners and other County officials, but not to the general public.

It also assists the Clackamas County Housing Authority and service districts operated by the County, such as the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District and the Clackamas County Development Agency. The Office handles litigation on the County's behalf, including claims for personal injury and property damage, land use appeals, personnel grievances and other matters.
