Following a review of employment applications, the selection process for regular status county positions includes a series of examinations and/or interviews that evaluates essential knowledge, skills and abilities. Each job posting has unique tests associated with the selection procedure so we do require a separate application for each job posting.

Application Process
Completed ON-LINE applications must be submitted on-line by 11:59 p.m. on the close date. You may also apply through our on-line system by visiting our office during business hours and using the workstations in our reception lobby. Our staff is available to help applicants with our on-line application system. Most public libraries and one-stop career centers also have computers available with internet access. Information regarding the status of your application is mailed by U.S. mail to all applicants following the application screen.

If hard copy applications are available for the recruitment for which you are applying, a fully completed HARD COPY application (hand delivered, mailed or faxed) must be received in our office NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM (PST) on the closing date (postmarks not accepted).
