Retiree/COBRA Benefits

Retiree coverage is available to former employees who are eligible to retire under the Public Employers Retirement System (PERS) or the Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP) and their family members who have health coverage through Clackamas County at the time of their retirement. Medicare coverage is also available to county retirees. COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) is available to former employees and their family member who have health coverage through Clackamas County.
