The option of returning your ballot via “fax” or email is available to members (and spouses) of the military and Merchant Marine, and U.S. citizens living overseas. Your faxed or emailed ballot must be received by the Elections Division no later than 8 pm Pacific Daylight Savings Time on Election Day. The faxed or emailed ballot package must include:
- The SEL 531 form, filled out and signed.
- Your signed identification envelope.
- The ballot itself.
We have established a secure fax machine in a private office to ensure your ballot’s maximum privacy. This fax number is 503.722.6085. The secure email address for emailing ballot packages is firstname.lastname@example.org.
You also have the option of accessing, marking and printing your ballot to mail, fax or email back to us. Please visit www.oregonvotes.gov and find the “My Vote” icon which allows you to accomplish this as well as track your ballot and ensure we’ve received it.
