May is National Bike Month - Thx4biking!
Clackamas County is joining Metro and other Drive Less Save More partners this month to celebrate National Bike Month. Whether riding to work, school, running a few errancs or taking a long spin in our beautifuly county, riding your bike can help you save money, stay healthy and keep our air clean.
For more ideas about biking in Clackamas County, check out the Bike It! map or contact Lori Mastrantonio-Meuser or Scott Hoelscher.
Other regional activities include giving away waterproof bike seat covers at bike racks in business districts, universities and shopping destinations; sharing photos of bike riding experiences on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks (use hashtag #thx4biking) and weekly contests to give away free Bike There! maps and Walk There! books.
Follow Metro on Twitter or Metro GreenScene on Facebook to participate in the contests; go to Drive Less Save More to learn more about National Bike Month activities throughout the region in May.
