Traffic Safety Commission

The Clackamas County Traffic Safety Commission strives to give a forum to voice traffic safety concerns, evaluate related issues, provide a liaison with County agencies and promote traffic safety.

The Clackamas County Traffic Safety Commission (TSC), formed in 1980, is a citizen board consisting of up to 12 private citizen members and one or more high school members, all of whom reside in Clackamas County.  The TSC focuses on projects and programs addressing the 5E's: Engineering, Education, Enforcement, Emergency Services and Evaluation.  We focus on the following functional areas to achieve our goals:

  • Driver education
  • Highway design, construction and maintenance
  • Identification and monitoring of high crash locations
  • Pedestrian and bicycle safety
  • Traffic data
