Talent Show:
Contestant Application | Rules and Regulations
If you can sing, dance, play an instrument, or have another type of family friendly act, then we want you to audition for the Clackamas County Fair Talent Show! To enter, you must be a resident of Clackamas County. There are three divisions within the talent show: Children (ages 5-9), Youth (ages 10-17), and Adult (18 years of age and older). Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Youth and Adult divisions. Children's division will receive placement certificates and participation ribbons for all entrants. Applications are due by Friday, July 19, 2012 to the Fair Office by 4pm. A completed application must include:
- Description of the act to be performed
- The biography page completely filled out
- A stage plot if it's a group act
Auditions will be Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in the Main Pavilion at the Event Center. You will be contacted after your application is received, and assigned an audition time. Approximately 15 acts (combined) will be selected in the Youth and Child divisions to continue on and compete during the Clackamas County Fair. Approximately 10 acts in the Adult division will be selected to advance to the Semi-Finals during Fair.

Child Winners:
- 1st Place: Sophia Regelin of Oregon City, OR
- 2nd Place: Abigail Chaffee & Kara Harper of Canby, OR
- 3rd Place: Deja Fitzwater of Portland, OR
Semi-Finals for Youth and Adults, will be Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 7:00pm on the Grove Stage. The Finals for Children, Youth, and Adults will be on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 7:00pm on the Grove Stage. The three first place winners will advance to the Oregon State Fair Talent Show! Gospel Sing Competition, Presented by KFIS 104.1 The Fish:

The Gospel Sing Competition is open to anyone, so you don't have to be a resident of Clackamas County. Any type of music is welcome as long as it is inspirational in nature (for example, we have had contestants sing songs ranging from Amazing Grace to songs like The Climb). Original pieces are welcome as well. There are two divisions within the Gospel Sing Competition: Youth (ages 10-17), and Adult (ages 18+). Cash prizes will be given to the top three placings in each division! Applications are due by Friday, July 19, 2012 to the Fair Office by 4pm. A completed application must include:

Finals for Youth will be Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 7:00pm on the Grove Stage. Finals for Adults will be Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 7:00pm on the Grove Stage. The two first place acts (Youth and Adult) will be introduced and receive their prize money at an encore performance at The Fish Gospel Sing and Inspirational Message to be held at the Clackamas County Fair on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM.
