The Purchasing Division operates under the direction of the Department of Finance serving County agencies and citizens. The division procures goods and services for the County’s departments as well as cooperatively purchasing for other local governmental bodies. Among the services provided by Purchasing are competitive bidding, contracting and related actions; purchase order processing for non-bid purchasing; and surplus property reclamation and disposal.

Functional units overseen by the Purchasing Manager include the following:

• Mail Operations
  Coordinates and processes all inbound and outbound mail.
• County Courier
  Delivers interoffice mail throughout the County.
