Areas of Outreach
Clackamas County Commissioners have announced a pilot program to strengthen community outreach and identify local issues of concern throughout Clackamas County. The program assigns a geographic area to each Commissioner for a period of six months.

John Ludlow
Chair John Ludlow was elected Chair of the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners in November 2012. He previously served as Mayor of Wilsonville, on the Wilsonville City Council and as a Board member for Clackamas Community College. John has twice been honored as Wilsonville Citizen of the Year and received the Oregon Department of Corrections 2012 Outstanding Volunteer Award.
Board of County Commissioners
The five-member Board of Commissioners serves as the governing body which directs the general administration of County government.
Martha Schrader
Martha Schrader was elected to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners in May 2012. She previously served as Commissioner from 2003 to 2009 and has also served as Commission Chair. She also served as a State Senator from 2009 to 2011.
Tootie Smith
Tootie Smith was elected to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners in November 2012. Prior to that she was a State Representative from 2001 to 2005 where she served on several key committees including Ways and Means and as Deputy Majority Leader. She is the first conservative woman elected to the Clackamas County Commission.

Commissioner Jim Bernard
Jim Bernard was elected Clackamas County Commissioner in November 2008. He previously served as Mayor of Milwaukie for eight years and is the owner of a third generation, family-owned business founded in 1925. Commissioner Bernard brings a legacy of strong customer and constituent service to the residents of Clackamas County.
Commissioner Paul Savas
Paul Savas was elected to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners in November 2010. His small business, Savas Tuning Systems, has served customers in Clackamas County for 25 years. Commissioner Savas brings years of local government and civic organization experience to help him serve the citizens of Clackamas County.

About Commissioner Savas
Paul has been an active citizen and community contributor during the past 25 years in Clackamas County. He has owned a small business, Savas Tuning Systems, Inc., in Oak Grove since 1985. Paul and his wife, Suzanne, live in Oak Grove and they have two children.
