Victim Rights

At stated in the Oregon Constitutional Bill of Rights, and Revised Oregon Statues, as a victim of crime in the State of Oregon, your right to justice includes the right to a meaningful role throughout the process, to dignity and respect, to fair and impartial treatment and to reasonable protection.

Services are available for victims whose cases are handled through the Clackamas County Juvenile Department. Click here for a downloadable brochure on victims' rights.

Many rights are automatic, but there are some that a victim must request to go into effect. Please contact the Victim Service Coordinator to discuss these rights. There is also a complete list by going to the Department of Justice Victims’ Rights page.

For more information about your rights, please Contact Us and ask for the Victim Impact Program.
