We are proud to have assembled a group of volunteer advisors to support the participants in the 2012–2013 Leadership Academy. Each participant in the Leadership Academy will be paired with an advisor for the duration of the Academy. Advisors serve to help participants develop additional skills of leadership, discuss what they are learning in the Academy and act as a sounding board for participants as they encounter challenges and opportunities through the year.
The potential advisors are listed below. They come from various departments and different levels of leadership at the County. As an academy participant, you are encouraged to review the bios of the advisors and consider who would strengthen your learning experience in the Academy. You are strongly encouraged to consider requesting an advisor from a different department than you currently work so you can further your learning beyond your current work environment. Advisors will attend the opening event on October 3rd and you will have a chance to personally meet them and express your preferences for an advisor at this event.
Note: Not all Advisors will be matched to participants. Selections will be based on participant requests and input from advisor candidates. Since matches will be made on a one-on-one basis, a participant may not receive their top choice for advisor.
