Why I am interested in serving as an advisor:
I had a wonderful experience with my advisor, who generously provided support, advice, encouragement and insight as I went through the Leadership Academy. I would like to provide the same help to someone this year. I also act as a mentor for law students, which has been a fulfilling experience for me. I believe that serving as an advisor will enrich my life, in addition to providing guidance to an academy member. It would be my pleasure to give back in some small way for the generosity shown to me by my advisor.
My strengths in leadership are:
Both my job and the Leadership Academy helped me develop the skills to become a good listener, communicate well, and work through a problem in a mutually satisfying way for those involved.
