Oak Lodge Library

OL Wiggle-Time
Wiggle-Time at the Oak Lodge Library is all about songs, rhymes and playtime for newborns, infants, and tiny tots - 0-2 years old and their grown-ups. Stories and activities will introduce babies to group and learning play. Librarians will also model the 5 Early Literacy Practices and 6 Early Literacy Skills that if practiced regularly, will prepare a child to read and develop the foundation for lifelong learning. Caregivers will get fun ideas for activities so everyone can learn and enjoy! Everyone encouraged to mingle and Stay 'N Play after the program. No Registration.

OL Family Storytime
Learn and play with stories, songs, and art every Friday at Family Storytime. You never know what fun activities you will find, but you do know it will be a great way for families to spend time together. Each storytime is followed with a craft that encourages creativity and develops early literacy skills that will prepare children to read and write. Librarians will also continue to model the 5 Early Literacy Practices and 6 Early Literacy Skills that if practiced regularly, will prepare a child to read and develop the foundation for lifelong learning. Intended for all children 2-5 years old with an adult. No Registration.
