The Sheriff’s Office has extended the deadline to recruit people to serve for three-year terms on the Enhanced Law Service District Budget Committee. The new deadline is Friday, April 6.
The Enhanced Law Enforcement Service District represents various geographic and demographic interests and serves about 85,000 residents in the unincorporated areas of Clackamas County with the Urban Growth Boundary, as well as the cities of Johnson City and Damascus.
The Budget Committee generally meets once a year. This year’s meeting is scheduled for May 24.
Applicants for the position must live within the unincorporated area of Clackamas County and within the Enhanced Law Enforcement Service District.
