Clackamas County Dog Services celebrates Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month by offering 50 percent off adoptions during October

October is Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog month, and Clackamas County Dog Services is celebrating by making it easier than ever to adopt a dog. To encourage people to find their new best, four-legged friend, Clackamas County Dog Services is offering a 50 percent discount on all adoptions through October 31.

The usual adoption fee is $120 for dogs under six years old and $80 for dogs six years old and older. For the month of October, those fees will drop to $60 and $40, to help more shelter dogs find new homes and encourage interested families to check out the great dogs available at the Clackamas County Dog Shelter.

Clackamas County Dog Services is located at 13141 SE Highway 212, Clackamas. Adoption viewing hours are 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. For more details about adoption, go to or call 503-722-6519.
