Cats (and dogs) available for adoption Saturday, Nov. 17, at Clackamas County Dog Services

Clackamas County Dog Services is always the place to go to find a wonderful dog to join your family, but on November 17 it will also be a great place to pick out a new cat or kitten.

Dog Services is supporting the efforts of Cat Adoption Team (CAT) to find new homes for 1,000 cats and kittens by the end of the year by opening its shelter to adoptable cats on Saturday, November 17.

The public is invited to come to the Clackamas County Dog Shelter, from 11:30 am – 5 pm November 17 day to find their “purrrr-fect” kitty and have a howling good time. Dogs, of course, will also be available for viewing, meeting and adopting.

Clackamas County Dog Services is located at 13141 SE Highway 212, Clackamas. Adoption viewing hours are 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.  For more details about adoption, go to www.clackamas.us/dogs/adopt.html or call 503-722-6519.
