Public invited to learn about Barlow-Zimmerman intersection improvement project at Dec. 11 meeting

A public meeting on Clackamas County's plan to reconstruct the intersection of Barlow Road and Zimmerman Road is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, at Ninety-One School, 5811 S. Whiskey Hill Rd.  The meeting will include details about the planned safety improvements, road closure and detour plans and the project schedule and a chance for people to ask questions.

The project will improve sight distance on Barlow Road heading north to Zimmerman Road in unincorporated Clackamas County south of Canby.  During construction, which is tentatively scheduled from August to November 2013, Barlow Road will be closed to through traffic and a detour route will be established.

Project information is available at www.clackamas.us/engineering/documents/barlowzimmerman.pdf.
