Clackamas County is seeking applicants for appointment to two positions on the Emergency Medical Services Council: as a representative of a city in Clackamas County, and as a representative of a commercial ambulance service. Members are appointed to a term of three years by the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners.
The council provides a forum for input by pre-hospital care consumers, providers and the medical community and advises the Board and the Department of Health, Housing and Human Services in matters relating to the Ambulance Service Plan and pre-hospital emergency medical services.
Regular public meetings are scheduled on the fourth Tuesday of January, April, July and October from 9 to 11 a.m.; Special meetings may be called by the chairperson or by a majority of the council members. Meetings are held at the Clackamas County Public Services Building.
