Clackamas County seeks EMS Council representatives

ClackamasCounty is seeking applicants for appointment to two positions on the EmergencyMedical Services Council: as a representative of a city in Clackamas County,and as a representative of a commercial ambulance service. Members areappointed to a term of three years by the Clackamas County Board ofCommissioners.

Thecouncil provides a forum for input by pre-hospital care consumers,providers and the medical community and advises the Board and the Department ofHealth, Housing and Human Services in matters relating to the Ambulance ServicePlan and pre-hospital emergency medical services.

Regularpublic meetings are scheduled on the fourth Tuesday of January, April, July andOctober from 9 to 11 a.m.; Special meetings may be called by thechairperson or by a majority of the council members. Meetings are held at theClackamas County Public Services Building.
