A Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. The district earned the award for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year which ended June 30, 2012. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
An Award of Financial Reporting Achievement has been awarded to these individuals, designated by the government as primarily responsible for preparing the award-winning report:
Laura Zentner, Business Operations Director
Kelly Stacey, Accountant
Tracy Grambusch, Financial Analyst
Galina Kashubin, Accounting Specialist 2
“I am very pleased with this recent accomplishment by the NCPRD Finance Team,” said Laura Zentner, Business Operations Director for NCPRD. “This is one of many essential components of NCPRD’s strong financial foundation and we will continue to implement tools to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the district.”
The financial report has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program including demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read it.
