Clackamas County Aging Services Advisory Council recruits for three vacancies

TheClackamas County Aging Services Advisory Council announces three vacancies forindividuals interested in serving the community.

Thecouncil meets the second Monday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Eachmember is encouraged to serve on one additional committee, including 1) theAdult Center Liaison committee, 2) the Joint Advocacy Committee or 3) AgeFriendly Communities that include monthly 60- to 90-minute meetings.

TheAdult Center Liaison committee meets at a different senior center in ClackamasCounty each month.

TheJoint Advocacy Committee advocates for issues that are important to seniors.Members educate legislators and policy makers in writing, in person and overthe phone.

AgeFriendly Communities advocate for issues important to all age groups.

Theapplication deadline is Thursday, Feb. 27.
