Clackamas County Service District No. 1 seeking citizens to serve on budget committee
Clackamas County Water Environment Services, on behalf of Clackamas County Service District No. 1 (CCSD #1), is seeking citizens to fill vacancies on its Budget Committee beginning spring 2014. Two three-year terms are available.
CCSD #1 provides sanitary sewer and surface water management services to areas of unincorporated north Clackamas County, Happy Valley, Boring and communities of the Hoodland Corridor. Interested citizens who reside within the District’s boundaries may apply.
The Budget Committee reviews the proposed fiscal year budget and any supplemental budgets and recommends revisions to the Clackamas County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) if necessary. The BCC appointed committee members typically meet two times per year between May and June.
Citizens within CCSD #1 who are interested in serving on the budget committee may apply online on the county's website, http://www.clackamas.us/miscapp/application.jsp, by requesting an application form from Public and Government Affairs (PGA), 503-742-4353, or at the PGA office, Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, 4th floor, Oregon City.
The application deadline is Thursday, March 6.
