Recruitment open for two vacancies on the Clackamas County Planning Commission
Clackamas County is looking for people interested in serving on the countyplanning commission. Two vacancies need to be filled in the spring. Allapplications must be received by Thursday, March 6.
The nine-member commission of volunteer citizens reviews and advises theBoard of County Commissioners (BCC) on quasi-judicial and legislative land-useissues.
Planning commission members are appointed to four-year terms by the BCC.They are chosen on the basis of their expertise, experience and/or educationrelated to land use issues, and to represent different areas of the county.
The planning commission conducts its business through public hearings andwork sessions usually scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday ofeach month.
Meetings are held in the county’s Development Services Building in OregonCity.
