The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners is in the process of recruiting for the Diversity Leadership Council.
The council acts as a liaison to the board on matters including the impact of policies and practices on diverse citizens, developing leadership from diverse communities to increase participation in county functions, establishing a list of diverse citizens for committee vacancies and helping service providers in their outreach efforts to diverse citizens.
The application deadline is Tuesday, April 29.
The group meets the fourth Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, Room 255, Oregon City.
