Assist North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District in determining programs and services for Milwaukie Center by volunteering on board
Clackamas County Commissioners are recruiting citizen members to serve for three years on the Milwaukie Center/Community Advisory Board. Representation is needed from the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District area. Anyone interested is encouraged to apply. Primary duties of the 12-member board include advising staff on issues related to recreation, fitness, education and social services at the Milwaukie Center.
The board meets the second Friday of each month to discuss, develop and implement the goals of the group. Projects of the Milwaukie Center include nutrition (on-site and meals on wheels), transportation, many other social services, recreation and education.
