Apply to serve on the Local Public Safety Coordinating Council

The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners is seeking volunteers to serve on the Local Public Safety Coordinating Council (LPSCC). Ideal candidates will have background and/or interest in public safety or criminal justice. The purpose of LPSCC is to develop and recommend to the Board of County Commissioners plans for the use of state and local resources to appropriately and effectively address the local adult and juvenile offender populations, prevent criminal involvement of youth, coordinate local criminal justice policy among all criminal justice entities, and to provide support for programs that strengthen and preserve families.

LPSCC meets on a quarterly basis on the 3rd Mondays of the month, from 1:30-3:00 pm. Meetings are generally scheduled in Room 255 of the Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, 97045. The next meeting dates are:

  • October 20, 2014
  • January 2015 (date to be determined)
  • April 20, 2015
  • Interested individuals should submit an application form, which can be completed online via the Clackamas County website: https://web3.clackamas.us/abc/application.jsp

    The application deadline is Thursday, September 18, 2014.
