Clackamas County Commissioners approve increase in reward for Waxenfelter murder suspect

Clackamas County Commissioners have approved an increase in the reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of Dirck Morgan White, 42, the prime suspect in the murder of Assistant Clackamas County Weighmaster Grady Waxenfelter, who was shot and killed on Feb. 6 while on duty.

The reward, which was $16,000, has been increased to $25,000.

At the time of the shooting, White had an active warrant for his arrest out of Pierce County, Washington for weapons charges. A Clackamas County arrest warrant for Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm has been issued for White and he is extraditable nationwide.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office continues to work with the U.S. Marshals to track down White. He was last known to be driving a silver 2004 Mercedes 320 four-door sedan with Washington license plate ANB7070.

Dirck Morgan White, 42, is described as a Hispanic man, 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
