Public invited to comment on Clackamas County transportation Capital Improvement Program

Every two years Clackamas County updates its plan for what transportation projects will be worked on during the next five years. A draft of the most recent plan, called the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP), is now available for public review and comment.

The CIP includes major construction projects needed to improve safety and enhance capacity. It does not include routine road maintenance. The plan is available for review.

Projects listed in the draft CIP have funding already identified for construction or at least for preliminary design and engineering. The projects come from the county’s 20-year transportation system plan and identified:
