Clackamas County offers free class for women impacted by domestic violence

If you or someone you know has been emotionally or physically abused by a current or former intimate partner, the Women’s Empowerment Project (WEP) can help break the cycle.

Sponsored by Clackamas County Community Corrections, WEP is a free, 14-week class specifically designed for women who want to create healthy, violence-free lives. Topics include: the cycle of violence, coping mechanisms, effects of abuse on children, safety planning, and more. The first class begins on Monday, Feb. 23, from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

For more information, please contact Shannon Barkley, Victim Services Program Coordinator sbarkley@clackamas.us or 503-655-8776.
