Volunteers needed for Clackamas County Library District Budget Committee

The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners (BCC) is seeking interested citizen volunteers to serve three-year terms on the Library District Budget Committee. In particular, the county desires applicants with a background in finance and public library services.

The committee participates annually with the BCC in receiving and reviewing the district budget. The committee meets in the spring, approving the budget and district tax rate each year. More information about the committee can be found at

District residents who are committed to public library services are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, May 15.
