Reminder: Town hall on 'Growing a Vibrant Economy' tonight in Stafford

Clackamas County Commissioners will hold a town hall tonight at Athey Creek Middle School in Stafford starting at 6:30 p.m.

All residents, business owners and other stakeholders of Clackamas County are welcome and encouraged to attend. Attendees will be able to voice their opinions and raise concerns directly to commissioners in a Q&A format.

The theme of this town hall is "Growing a Vibrant Economy." This is an opportunity for citizens and members of the business community to share their successes and challenges with commissioners. This direct interaction informs commissioners about the real hurdles that stakeholders face, helping to guide the board in enhancing the county business climate.

This theme is a priority of Performance Clackamas, a strategic plan previously adopted by the county. While the first half of Q&A will center on economic issues, attendees are free to raise questions of any nature related to the county during the second half.

Tonight's town hall in Stafford is the first of four scheduled in 2015. Later this year, town halls are also set for Milwaukie, Canby and Welches, each to focus on different priorities of Performance Clackamas. More on these points can be found at

Athey Creek Middle School is located within the Stafford Hamlet at 2900 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, 97062.
