eBooks and eAudiobooks checkout from Libraries in Clackamas County now easier

Checking out eBooks and eAudiobooks from LINCC (Libraries in Clackamas County) is now easier than ever. Beginning today, June 4, library users can find and check out these digital materials from the regular library catalog found at www.lincc.org.

Previously, library users could search for eBooks in the catalog but would then be directed to a different website to finalize the checkout.

"This will make it easier for everyone to find the titles and authors they are looking for, both in print and downloadable formats," said Kathryn Kohl, LINCC Member Services Librarian. "Library patrons will also be able to see their digital checkouts and holds in their library accounts along with all of their other items."

LINCC libraries offer thousands of popular eBook and eAudiobook titles in a variety of formats (including Kindle eBooks). Patrons can check out up to six digital titles for up to 21 days. If residents don't have a LINCC library card, they can visit a local library to easily sign up for one. For more information on library locations or borrowing digital titles, visit www.lincc.org.

For more information about checking out eBooks and eAudiobooks, contact LINCC Member Services Librarian Kathryn Kohl at 503-723-4915 or kkohl@lincc.or.
