Clackamas County will participate in Portland Pride Festival & Parade June 13-14

Clackamas County will participate in the Portland Pride Festival & Parade on June 13 and 14 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park and will join more than 200 other community groups, nonprofits and businesses from Oregon and southwest Washington in celebrating and supporting the Portland Metro area’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Clackamas County will have an exhibitor’s booth during both festival days and has jointly reserved a place in the Portland Pride Parade on Sunday, June 14 with the City of Milwaukie. Employees will march in the parade, which begins at 11 a.m. from the North Park Blocks/W. Burnside and ends at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

“This is the first time Clackamas County has participated in Portland Pride,” said County Administrator Don Krupp. “The county is committed to diversity and supporting our LGBT employees and their families. I am excited to attend the festival and march in the parade.”
