Clackamas County installing all-way stop signs at intersection of Mulino Road & 13th Avenue to improve safety

By the end of October, travelers at the intersection of Mulino Road and 13th Avenue will be required to stop in all three directions after Clackamas County installs an additional stop sign.

Currently the three-way intersection has stop signs on 13th Avenue and the southbound leg of Mulino Road. Stop signs will be added in the next few weeks for traffic traveling northbound, which will make all legs of the intersection stop-controlled.

Trucks will also be directed from Mulino Road to 13th Avenue and Sequoia Parkway, which has signalized access to Highway 99E.

The changes are part of Clackamas County’s long-term effort to increase the safety of roads as part of the Transportation Safety Action Plan. The all-way stop is also needed because of:
