Water Environment Services to host open houses, tours at Tri-City Wastewater Treatment Plant

Clackamas County Water Environment Services will host three public open houses and tours of its Tri-City Water Pollution Control Plant in January to provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the state-of-the-art technology that protects public health and the environment in north Clackamas County.

Those touring the facility in Oregon City will also learn how the plant produces clean water, energy, and other useful products, in addition to helping protect the county’s future economic vitality. Donuts, hot chocolate, and coffee will be served.

The open houses and tours are scheduled for the following dates and times:

Attendees must wear closed-toed shoes and pants. Children must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Reservations are required as space is limited. Contact Community Relations Specialist Gari Johnson at 503-742-4631 to RSVP.

The plant is located at 15941 S. Agnes Ave. in Oregon City.

For more information, members of the media and public may contact Gari Johnson at 503-742-4631.
