Low-cost women’s self-defense class offered

Participants should reserves spots for Feb. 6 by end of day tomorrow

Clackamas County Community Corrections and the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation Department (NCPRD) are offering a low-cost public safety education class for women age 14 and over on Monday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Milwaukie Center.

Participants can expect to learn:

This hands-on class will provide instruction on using weapons of opportunity for protection. Interested parties should call 503-794-8092 by end of day tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 2, to register.

The class fee is $5 for NCPRD residents and $7 for non-residents. The Milwaukie Center is located at 5440 SE Kellogg Creek Drive in Milwaukie.
