Public invited to comment on updated Clackamas County 5-year transportation Capital Improvement Program

Every two years, Clackamas County updates its plan for what transportation projects will be worked on during the next five years. A draft of the most recent plan, called the 5-Year Transportation Capital Improvement Program (CIP), 2017-2021, is now available for public review and comment.

The 5-year CIP includes major construction projects needed to improve safety and enhance capacity. It does not include routine road maintenance. Review the plan online.

Projects listed in the draft 5-year CIP have funding already identified for construction, or at least for preliminary design and engineering.

The projects come from the county’s 20-year transportation system plan and from projects identified:
