Cooling centers open in Clackamas County

As high temperatures are expected to hit our region, Clackamas County officials have identified multiple cooling centers throughout the county for members of the public. Residents who do not have access to cool places are encouraged to visit a center to avoid the heat and relax. A list of centers can be found below.

 The county would also like to remind residents that plan to be outdoors to take precautions and protect themselves and others from sun exposure and the heat. Tips include:

Symptoms of dehydration and heat cramps include dizziness, fatigue, faintness, headaches, rapid heartbeat, muscle cramps and increased thirst. Anyone experiencing these symptoms should seek immediate medical attention or call 911.
