Public comments being taken on House District 38 replacement

Following the resignation of Representative Ann Lininger from the Oregon House of Representatives, Clackamas County and Multnomah County commissioners will hold a joint session on Wednesday, Sept. 13, to interview candidates and select a replacement for the open position. Read more about this upcoming event and the nominees.

Clackamas County is accepting public comments regarding the appointment – both electronically and via snail mail – until 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7. The comments will become part of the official record.

To submit comments to be considered by commissioners, the public should send them to Clackamas County’s Kevin Moss, either at kmoss@clackamas.us or Suite 450, Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, Oregon, 97045.

The appointment meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation Building, 1500 Greentree Road (the former Palisades Elementary School) in Lake Oswego. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
