SHE PLANS TO APPLY FOR A VARIANCE TO DO SO AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. PLEASE CONTACT THE OREGON HEALTH AUTHORITY FOR VARIANCE APPROVAL AND GUIDANCE. ERICA VAN ESS IS MOST LIKELY YOUR CONTACT AT THE STATE. 99E - THE FRONT DISPLAY COOLER WAS NOW HOLDING FOODS IN THE LEGAL TEMPERATURE RANGE, BUT JUST BARELY. FOOD WAS AT 42-43 F (WE GIVE YOU +/- 2 F AS LEGAL). OPERATOR TOLD ME THAT THEY JUST TURNED THE UNIT DOWN. I ASKED THEM TO TURN IT DOWN MORE, AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ALL OF THE WAY TURNED DOWN. I THEN ASKED THE OWNER, WHO WAS HERE ON THIS VISIT, TO TAKE OFF THE FRONT COVER AND EXPOSE THE HEAT EXCHANGE COILS. UPON DOING THESE WE FOUND A HEAVY COATING OF DUST THAT WAS THICK. TOLD THE OWNER TO REMOVE THIS AND THEN THE COOLER SHOULD COME DOWN EVEN MORE. THE OWNER SAID HE WOULD DO THIS, JUST NOT RIGHT NOW FOR HE WAS BUSY. 0
