Business Recycling Awards Group

The Clackamas County Resource Conservation & Solid Waste program is in the process of updating and rebranding our existing business recognition program BRAG. The BRAG program has celebrated businesses doing an outstanding job of recycling, preventing waste, and purchasing recycled content products for over 10 years.

With the help of local Clackamas businesses who participated in a focus group or piloted the application, we are developing a new Certification Application and Guide to help businesses become certified or renew their membership.

We are encouraging early adopter businesses to apply and become a certified Leader in Sustainability business during our transition. Basic certification is similar to the previous BRAG requirements. Our Sustainability Advisors are here to help you get started through the application process.

This new certification can help your business stand out in a competitive market and attract the best talent. Certification can help associate your brand with other social and environmentally responsible companies.

Get recognized – Celebrate your achievements
Certified businesses receive an award to display, a window decal, a listing on the County's business directory webpage, permission to use the logo on their own materials, are identified in newsletters published by the County, and may choose to receive the award at a local Chamber of Commerce meeting, if a member.
