Cost: $6.4 million
Scope: Replaced structurally and functionally deficient bridge built in 1951 with a new bridge in the same location. Constructed a separate detour bridge on the downstream side before removing the current bridge and constructing the new bridge. Removed the detour bridge once the new bridge was completed.
New bridge: 300 feet long with pile-supported abutments. 52 feet wide with two lanes of traffic, and sidewalks and bike lanes on both sides.
Structural details: Three-span multi-girder structure composed of pre-stressed Bulb-T girders. 300 feet overall length, with a 120-foot center span placed on 5.5-foot drilled shafts 45 to 70 feet deep.
