About the Conference

The Northwest Peer Support Conference -- hosted by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office -- is designed to educate members of public-safety peer-support teams in a variety of crisis-related issues — as well as providing guidance for those interested in starting a peer-support team.
Attendees include public-safety employees, first responders, clergy, and mental-health professionals involved in the emergency-responder community.
Our theme, “Serving Those Who Serve,” reminds us to promote the health and well-being of our emergency responder communities by providing confidential support and assistance to our peers and their families when they are experiencing emotional distress due to critical
work-related or personal events.
Registration is limited to the first 120 participants. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Registration is $125 per attendee.
Fee includes all workshops, continental breakfast on Thursday and Friday and lunch on Thursday.
No registrations can be accepted after Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. No registrations at the door. Transfer of registration fees to another person may be done without penalty at any time upon submitting a Replacement Registration Form (PDF download) to the Registration Coordinator.

Confirmation of registration will be sent by email upon receipt of payment. Please bring a copy of your email confirmation to the conference.
Request for refunds must be received in writing no later than Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. A service fee of $25 will be charged for all cancellations received by that date. Refunds will not be made for cancellations requested or postmarked after Feb. 7, 2014 or for participants who register but do not attend. No exception to this policy can be considered as our funds are fully committed to the production of the conference. All refunds will be mailed after the conclusion of the conference.

Ideally located off I-205 with easy access to I-84 and I-5, the Monarch Hotel is just minutes from Portland International Airport, downtown Portland and blocks from the Public Safety Training Center. Airport shuttle service provided by hotel.
Conference Hotel Rate
Reserve your room early! A limited number of rooms have been reserved for conference participants on a first-come, first-served basis until gone or April 30, 2012, whichever occurs first.
Event room rate: $90 + 7% lodging tax
